  Taking a trip to Washington DC and I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend a good barbell-centric gym. I am hoping for something that can at least invoke great gyms like Quads in Chicago (may as well stay optimistic). All suggestions are appreciated. Going there this weekend.

  Balance Gym is a local DC chain of 4 gyms. The Thomas Circle location, which is right in downtown DC, will have everything you need (numerous squat racks, Texas power bar, safety squat bar, etc.). Most importantly, it’s lifter friendly. There is usually a good group of people training there on Saturdays around noon. http://balancegym.com/locations/thomascircle?view=item
