About us
Always Unique was founded in the summer of 1994 when I attended the
Howard University School of Business Entrepreneur Academy. In this academy I was partnered with a local business named “Tribe Vibe Urban Renaissance Artists”.
It was there that I KNEW what I wanted to do in life. I wanted to be a wearable art artist and own my own boutique, making creations that help make the world more aesthetically pleasing one piece at a time!
S'Atoya Designs (jewelry and handbeaded accesories) was born the summer of 2010 when I was playing around with some beads and made what I call my Mix'D necklace and wore it to a cookout. EVERYONE loved it and I wound up making many more. Word of mouth is a beautiful thing, and that's why I always try to put out the best product possible.
