About us

We are so happy to have you as part of Chicago's Animal Care and Control Facebook community, and since you are here, it is because you support the cause of homeless animals in Chicago. We encourage positive participation, and hope you will help make this a constructive forum focused on animal rescue and adoption. There are many ways to work with CACC to make a difference in the lives of animals, and we urge you to explore them. If you are looking for ideas on how to help, you can start here: http://youtu.be/hpZ0wa5Lpp4.

Please do NOT call the shelter to inquire about any cats you see on the this page. The volunteer transfer team was created to help with this, so please send a note via our Facebook page or email one of us instead of calling the shelter. We are very quick to respond. Our contact info is listed below. ♥

Thank you!! :)
