  I had TMJ and my dentist made a night guard for me. It worked ok for a while and then i went to the orthodontist and got the invisil. My teeth weren't crowded but when I had the impressions done I found my lower gums/teeth where almost in a V pattern and not oval. Once I got that corrected the TMJ was resolved. I still need to wear the mouth guard/retainer to keep from clenching. Good Luck. http://www.ryanortho.com/
