The Alphabet Tree Daycare and Learning Environment is a family day care located in Woodland Hills, California. We are state licensed, insured, and certified in both first-aid and CPR.
For your family's convenience, we offer extended hours of 6am to 7pm daily, included in the cost of regular tuition.
The security and well-being of your child is always our first priority. All adults have undergone background checks by the Department of Social Services. There is always an appropriate ratio of staff-to-children to ensure proper supervision. Our home has undergone extensive child-proofing and other safety measures. All staff are CPR trained and certified.
The Alphabet Tree nurtures an atmosphere of positive social interaction by teaching sharing, empathy, and respect. In addition to natural opportunities for such lessons, we incorporate fun activities designed to encourage cooperative behavior.
The Alphabet Tree Daycare and Learning Environment integrates an age-appropriate curriculum to strengthen and expand a child's knowledge, education, and healthy habits. The curriculum includes phonics, alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, sequence, science, botany, geography, and more.
Our curriculum also teaches diversity and multi-culturalism. Cultural education involves themes in such areas as food, music, movement, and arts-and-crafts.
Fun is central to a child's experience at The Alphabet Tree Daycare and Learning Environment. Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and express themselves in a variety of mediums, including art, music, movement, and play. Fun activities are organized daily, in addition to free-play. The children have access to a multitude of toys and equipment, suitable for safe and creative fun.
Tuition includes daily snacks. Our snacks and meals are well-balanced, incorporating fresh, organic fruit and vegetables, some picked from our own backyard.
