I already had a large pile of art in need of framing so now the pile is even larger. I prefer to plaque mount my comic book and poster type stuff (and used to use something called Plakit - http://www.plak-it.com/ when I lived in Canada) but I also need some nice matting and framing for a few pieces.   Here in the Valley I had a poster-sized print framed at [U-Frame-It](http://www.uframeitgallery.com/) (Sherman Way location), and it was the cheapest place I found. I picked out a metal frame, and after matting, labor, and glass, it was reasonable. But like everybody says, framing is *expen$ive*.
