My MIL is having trouble posting on this thread, but she used Sheridan brothers a couple weeks ago and they stole some of her jewelry, charged her more than they quoted on the phone and were 45 minutes late. When she called to complain they wouldn't do anything about it either. I would stay away from them at all costs!

Does anyone recommend a moving company - staying within Webster
Jan L. replied:
Yes. My husband and I just moved from Brighton to Spencerport (we used to live in Webster). We used "Peace of Mind Movers" We had to do it 2 phases because we were moving things from my parent's house as well. They were absolutely wonderful, safe and careful. They had the best price out of the four places we called. Their phone number is: 721-0857. Owner's name is Sam.
Anyone ever use a junk removal company around Webster to come and get an old couch, old style 50 lb Sony television and an entertainment center? What do they usually...
Gerry S. replied:
You could also try http://www.freecycle.net/. It is a site that allows you to offer items for free to others, instead of them ending up in landfills.
Di-Lynn G. replied:
I'd try free first. My dad's electronics were broken and the couch was a sleeper from the late 70 s, so I didn't try. But if your TV works and your couch isn't 500 lbs and threadbare, you have nothing to lose. Garage Sale Days is a FB page you can list free things on, too.
