  Maybe it's because I'm a giant but when I was looking for a road bike I couldn't find anything decent in the second hand market. I think this is because people fall in love with their bikes & never let them go, they just add more bikes to their collection. I'm sure others will come up with some good ideas here but from me I do recommend Rayment Cycles http://raymentcycles.com who supplied my road bike. They are good folk and have a great and fair workshop offering.
