  Hi Podenco friends :)! I remember seeing some of you in Norway, Denmark and Germany. So I thought I would ask for some travel and sightseeing advice (I will pm you as well Reidun Vikøren, thanks for the tips already!). Next monday we will start our trip in Sweden, drive up to Norway and see the area of Jotunheimen. We will then drive down (possibly through the mountains) to take a ferry to Denmark, drive through Germany and end our trip in the Netherlands. The idea is that we go hiking, camping, you name it, and occassionally couch surf or stay in a b&b to clean ourselves up a bit. Of course Amber will come with us :)! It will be a very active trip with hopefully a lot of nice sights :) we will also bring our canoe with us! Who can give us some tips on what to see, where to stay, and what to do? Thank you and maybe I'll meet some of you on our adventures :P ( we are excited!)

  I live in Copenhagen but my familiy used to have a cottage near Råbjerg Mile. I have many fond memories of that area. Some places you can even drive on the beach. If you go to Kandestederne you can go north by car on the beach for at few miles and take a hike on the beach and in the tall dunes. You probably won't meet a soul. You could also consider Thy National Park further south along the west coast. And swing by Klitmøller, known as Cold Hawaii. A surfers paradise. http://eng.nationalparkthy.dk/

  So I was born and raised in the northern part of Jutland, so of course, I would have to recommend it. For nature, I would have to advice you to look up Nationalpark Thy (http://eng.nationalparkthy.dk/). The Nationalpark is a beautiful piece of mostly land, and it is rather large. There is a couple of small cities nearby, with the biggest being Thisted. They are still quite small though.
