In 1986, the name Burgers and Shakes was brought into the great little town called Manotick. A young entrepreneur, named Albert Tohme, had gone through many business', such as a grocery store and an automotive body shop, but had his heart set on a quaint little place called Burgers and Shakes and Fresh Cut Fries.
First located at the 4 corners at Mitch Owens and River Road, he did his best to serve the people of the great historic area of Manotick for 14 years. Changing the location to Limebank and Mitch Owens in 2001, where we continue to serve only the best quality food.
The Tohme family is dedicated to making great quality homemade food, always fresh and never frozen. The whole family works hard to keep the trust of their customers that they have gained through great customer service, making you always feel right at home.
The classic name of Burgers and Shakes is known to many because they have reached their customer's hearts by going through their stomachs.
Hi!! Hubby and I are looking for a nice chip wagon or place for poutine in the area ( or barrhaven). I know Costco has good stuff but hoping to keep closer to home. Any suggestions would be wonderful... TIA! :)
