  Try googling Medicaid Waiver Volusia County Assisted Living Facilities and call the ALF's that accept the Medicaid Waiver. Perhaps they can guide you through the process. I recall there is usually a waiting list for Medicaid Waiver applicants. Perhaps the COA has someone on call during the weekend also who can offer guidance.(386) 253-4700 is the last ph # I have for COA. Best of luck to you as I have been jumping through similar hoops for years for my parents also. (Medicaid for dad, ALF for mom.) I know Woodland Towers in DeLand has a few Medicaid Waiver apts.   Hi Rudy, A couple of years ago I had a badly bruised bone in my foot plus I dislocated a joint in my forefoot. I used Dr. Rothman in Orange City. I was very happy with his services. He sent me to a rehab facility that really helped my foot heal plus he made an orthotic that I still use in all my shoes. I never needed to have surgery. His website address is www.rothmandpm.com.
