  Hello, I have a question for any Inwood Mothers or expecting mothers out there: Is there a childbirth class available in the city that's affordable? The Allen Hospital (NY Presbyterian Hospitals) does not offer these classes anymore. I've checked online and am seeing classes that cost anywhere between $270-$350?! Appreciate the feedback!   Jacobi Medical Center offers classes at $45 per couple for a 3-class package. Classes run every month and cover what to expect in labor, coping techniques, pain management and more. Classes are taught by our midwives and go from 5:45-8:00 pm. If you need more information, please contact Ellen Walk at 718-918-6391 (or me!).
