About us
Potter's Auto Specialties was started by Dave Potter in 1981 Dave's knowledge and passion for cars is what led him to opening his own business soon after he graduated from High School. He restored his first car, a 1956 Chevy at 16 years of age while in high school. Potters Auto Specialties employs certified technicians. We also provide continual training in order to stay up with the most current repair procedures. We work on all makes and models of vehicles. When you bring your vehicle in we will inspect it for free. We will let you know what was found and prioritize any needed repairs and provide complete estimates before any work is performed. It is our customer's choice to have any needed services or repairs done. We understand that having repairs done is not a welcomed expense. Because of this we estimate what a complete job will cost verses a partial get-you-by job will cost. Most people don't realize that cheap parts or short cuts have a very high failure rate, causing frustration of a failed repair and a vehicle that is not operating correctly, and added expenses to redo the job correctly the second time. In the long run it is more expensive and can be an inconvenience if putting off repairs. We strive to do what is best for each of our customers and doing it right the first time.
