So, looking for some advice... If venturing quite a bit around Oregon, what's the best wireless carrier?
Gotta check in with the co-workers sometime I'm guessing.
Question, what is the best prepaid cell service in LC ?? Need good coverage in the boonies of Winlock. ☺ Also, where do you get prepaid phones? TIA
Leslie R. replied:
I get good service with Verizon out in Boistfort and when I've been in Winlock. I just use a basic phone not a smart phone. Verizon uses US Cellulars towers along with their own. I'm on roaming in the US Cellular areas. Calls and basic texts work fine but the multimedia photo texts don't load until I'm back on Verizon towers. You can check out their plans at verizonwireless.com. You can get a phone from the website or from Wal-mart or Best Buy. I'm not sure if the Verizon store by the Centralia Safeway handles prepaid phones and plans.
Does anyone use T-Mobile for cell phone service? We are tired of our $250 bill from Verizon.
Tariq J. replied:
Jeri rowen I work at Verizon wireless. I could take a look at your bill and see if I can save you some cash each month. Please give me a call tomorrow at noon so I can get some things adjusted! 4198412450 it will not hurt to look.
That depends on how much you will be using it....just check like verizonwireless.com or tmobile...or any other company that has prepaid and you will get a idea
Does anyone know of an Internet Service Provider in Hernando County (zip 34602) that is faster than a snail???? Doesn't need to be as fast as a Cheetah but at least as fast as an antelope??

Seriously thinking of a new cell phone. A necessity not a choice. Please comment on what you would/would not recommend. Thank you.

I was just comparing the 5 s & c -- and from what I can tell - the 5 s is more expensive, has a better quality camera & is a little lighter weight. If you go to verizonwireless.com(for example), you can compare the two phones & see the differences. Happy shopping!
Hey FB Friends - does anyone have a cell phone provider who gives credit/gift cards for signing up friends/referrals? I'm moving to ATT or Verizon and would be happy to share in a referral. Message me and let me know. BTW - Do NOT recommend Sprint to me or I might implode! ;)

I can not depend on #SPRINT anymore for hotspot, cell service in #Tallahassee maybe they don't know we are the Capitol of Florida, or that we have hills or that we exist. So,.. I need a my-fi ... what company do you recommend.
Can anyone recommend a good arm band that will fit an iPhone 5 in a life proof case? Bo and I both need one and there are all kinds out there, but not sure on what to get.
Bo C. replied:
Go to verizonwireless.com, I'm pretty sure they have an arm band in their iPhone accessories.
Left my phone in a "black car" taxi - how can i get it back? Hi guys,
So last night, I left my phone (a DroidX) in one of those black car taxis, a lincoln town car with no meter. Just hailed it off the street.
Does anyone know what company owns those? I already filed a missing property report with the Taxi and Limousine Commission (which is for yellow cabs).
Unfortunately, the battery is dead, so I don't think I can install any apps to track it down.
Any info you might have would be much appreciated! Happy weekending all!
Thanks!
Will

There's nothing you can do but hope the driver makes the effort to track you down That said, the phone takes a common charger, so I wouldn't worry about the battery. He'll charge it. Text, call, every hour. Use verizon? You can send a text to any verizon phone from verizonwireless.com And *when* you get it back (assuming the driver finds it before another passenger) look into a remote security app like LookOut Mobile. Also, change your email and banking passwords RIGHT NOW. email first, bank second.
