I have a question. Unsure if anyone can help or offer advice? We have a Toyoto Prado Grande 2004 model car we need to sell. It is due for new tyres, has an issue with the suspension either hole in bag or compressor we are unsure which is the issue possibly both. It would cost us $2000 to make road worthy even though it drives fine - just a bit jumpy due to suspension issue. It's rego is up Oct 20th. It will take us a long time to get the money to fix what needs to be fixed. Trade in offers are obviously quite low and this model sells for $18,000 to $20,000 on redbook with RWC. Was $75,000 brand new back in 2004. So my question is this ... Should I try to sell it without RWC and knock the price off for the work that needs to be done? So around $16,000 or fix it and sell for close to $20,000? Does anyone know any sites where perhaps a mechanical minded fellow may buy it cheaper? Or know anyone that does better trade ins? We don't need trade for car, just the cash. Any help is greatly appreciated. We can buy the 5 new tyres for $250 of a friend brand new.
