I have a question, Does anyone know of a breeder/s in the SF bay area? We had ratties for 15 years and allowed the lines to die off 5 years ago and we miss our ratties so much we want to adopt a couple.

http://www.rattieratz.com/ Often have all ages. Check their calendar for their adoption events, you can see pix of available rats and get the paperwork done then pick up at the adoption event or some other arrangement with the foster.

Rattie Ratz Rat Rescue is based out of the bay area- they have a foster in Concord and that area
I have two girls and am looking for a third. Are there any breeders in the Northern Cali area? Specifically the Bay Area or Central Valley? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking to add another baby to our family as soon as we can get her.
Pic is of my two daughters!

Not a breeder but there's this rescue http://www.rattieratz.com
Jill R. replied:
Rattie ratz is a good rescue, try Craigslist, and I'm not sure where you are located but I bought 2 rats at a pet(co or smart I forgot) in Pacifica
Jenny M. replied:
They are so cute!! Would you be interested in a Rescue Rat? There is a Rat Rescue called Rattie Ratz in the Bay Area that covers Norcal and there is also Northstar Rescue in Pacifica that rescues small animals including rats. There are so many rats in need, no need to go to a breeder.
I just moved here form out side Chicago. I have 17 rats now most are older. Anyway I'm in Mountain View and I need a vet anyone know of a good one that knows alot about rats
I am on the other side of the bay and over the hills, but I think a lot of people over there use Adobe Animal Hospital. It is in Los Altos. Diane has a link on rattieratz.com, under resources, then vets. I remember it being talked about a bunch on BARATTYCHAT. Hope it helps. And welcome to the group. Denise V.
