  I have a problem that I hope someone on here can help me with. My water bill was over twice as much as usual. I checked the meter and it shows that I have a leak. The problem is that our house is approximately 1/2 mile from the meter, and the pipe is pvc, going across the neighbors pasture, under about a foot of soil. I am thinking it may be cheaper to replace? Who knows a good handyman, plumber, contractor etc. that would be good to either find the leak or bury and replace the pipe? I appreciate any information.
