The public programming at The Godfrey Dean Art Gallery reflects the creative diversity of the Yorkton community. As the only professional public art gallery within a 150 km radius of Yorkton, the Dean Gallery curates, exhibits and promotes the work of local, provincial and national contemporary artists for a wide regional audience.
Exhibitions open in two galleries and one informal exhibition spaces every six to eight weeks. Through workshops and diverse public programming, the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery strives to fulfill its mandate to educate, entice and challenge within the realm of visual arts and culture.
Working in partnership with the cultural and artistic interests of community organizations and schools, the Dean Gallery offers custom tours and art activity programs.
