Hi and welcome to my page Artful Strands! If you are looking to enhance YOUR own beauty for your special occasion, look no further, you have come to the right place. Just to share a little bit about myself, I am a gradate of Paul Mitchell the School, Gastonia and am a licensed cosmetologist. I graduated with honors in color, cutting, texture and makeup. I pride myself in my craft of hair and makeup, especially for special occasions, such as weddings, proms, homecomings, dances, ballet recitals, theatre productions, etc. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre where my passion originated from. I have years of experience doing hair and makeup for numerous theatre productions for many companies. Once I found that I loved doing this I took it to the next level of obtaining my cosmetology license so I could finally do what I love! I am not here to make you look like a totally different person (unless, of course, that is your request, then I will deliver), I am here to ENHANCE the beauty that you already portray and have in your everyday life. Every person is beautiful, you may just need some added help and extra hands to enhance the beauty that is already there for your busiest and most important days.
Now, you may be asking yourself, "What all can this girl do"? To answer that question, I can do anything from updos, long elegant styles, modeling and print work, TV/film work, dance recitals, fashion show and runway work, beauty pageants, cheer competitions, natural to dramatic makeup applications and even as far as special effects makeup for things like Halloween events. Please feel free to browse and search my albums for examples of my recent work. Also if there is any beauty need that you are looking for all you have to do is ask and I will discuss it with you and see if it is a possibility for me a accomplish. I am always up for new challenges!
