I called Dr Radford based on the recommendation of my dog's vet and a friend who had used her. My dog, Chili, was diagnosed with cancer that had spread to his lungs and we were struggling. The first visit was good, I felt like she was listening and could be a good resource for us. She did an acupuncture treatment and prescribed some homeopathic medicines, one of which she said she would mail the next day but didn't mail for 4 days. She told me she would email me recipes for dog food the next day since my dog wasn't eating, I had to leave 2 messages and didn't receive these recipes for 3 days. In the meantime I couldn't get in contact with her and the next week when Chili continued to get worse we went back to visit our vet and arranged to let him go. When I called Dr Radford hoping she could do it at my house, her work voice mail was full. Her assistant returned my call and was very sympathetic but I never heard from Dr Radford about it. A week and a half later I received a card in the mail with condolences and a note written by Dr Radford where she referred to my dog as a "her" twice. Chili was a boy. I had high hopes and was really looking forward to working with Dr Radford but was sorely disappointed and upset by the experience.
Are there any mobile vets around the area? My dog's arthritis is getting worse making getting in and out of the car almost impossible.
