  https://www.premiereyes.com/lasik-and-more/lasik/what-does-lasik-cost/ Cost is $999-$2499. I paid $2500 for one eye, only needed the right eye at the time. Mine only lasted 5 years. Computer work and a astigmatism in the good-left eye resulted in glasses again (chronic dry eye). It DOES work, however, for some, it may not.
