  Driving instructor recommendations Evening all. Looking for recommendations for a good driving instructor who’ll cover the north of the city (I live in Canonmills). Bonus points if anyone knows an instructor taking on students very soon after the 26th! EDIT: Thanks everyone for your suggestions!   I'd thoroughly recommend [Compass Pro Drive](http://www.drivinglessons-edinburgh.co.uk/) personally. I passed after roughly 20-25 hours of lessons with Laura, and I'm sure her husband Steve is just as competent. They travel through to Edinburgh for clients so Haymarket won't be an issue (we're Corn Exchange area for example) PM me if you would like her mobile number...

  I've really got to recommend [Compass ProDrive](http://www.drivinglessons-edinburgh.co.uk/#) for their amazing professionalism. It is just 2 guys who worked for big driving lessons companies*(who can really be a huge pain and overpriced)* who broke away from them and started their own company.   They pick you up from your house and would certainly be able to do it from Ocean Terminal. I had Alan as my instructor and he was really thorough and dedicated to helping me pass. Couldn't recommend them enough, I promise this isn't an advert for them BTW, just a happy customer. Tell them Jacob sent you and they will treat you right.
