  Many years ago when I lived in Brevard, I used Walter Cantrell's shop for some furniture repair. I think Mr. Raines worked there too and also did not some work for us. Is anyone around still associated with them and do excellent work? I have a wood dresser drawer that was damaged by a dog scratching- needs to match dresser well after repair. I now live 20 minutes north of Asheville so if anyone local knows who I mean, I really appreciate it. They were great men who did incredible work! Thanks in advance!

  Looking for a great furniture repair person. For antiques that include stained glass held together with lead (glass not broken just out of the lead partition). Also another antique wood cabinet where it needs the small front portion of where the two doors meet one another. I have an old, not quite antique, loveseat rocker where the seat base has come apart from the back support and the rocker leg from the rocker base.   My husband has been in the business for over 45 years. We recently moved here and he is just starting to ramp up again, so not many know him, but he does awesome work!
