Antique clock repairing. Hey /r/Brisbane
Anybody know of a reputable antique repairer? I have an antique clock from my late grandfather and I would like to get it fixed up.
It isn't a grandfather clock, but it does have a weight system, pendulum and is meant to chime every quarter hour. It is one of the ones that hangs on the wall.
The wood itself doesn't need repairs, it just need some adhesive to stick the clock to the actual plate that hangs on the wall.
Other than that, the hands need replacing. I would try it myself but I am inept when it comes to wood work and it is important to me so I don't want to screw it up.

Does anyone out there know of where we could get a Grandmother clock repaired? Have had a quote which seems to be extremely expensive, but would love to get our old girl going again.TIA

There's an excellent clock repair service at an antique centre in Albion, Bris. Not cheap though. http://www.kbrosjewellers.com.au
