  Has anyone ever broken a bone, had the insurance fully covered the doctor's consult, x-rays, and medication, but have the insurance deny the crutches or cast?? I've met my deductible. Just received a bill for $400.00 for a short air boot from the manufacturer. Ironically, the same manufacturer also sells the same boot on Amazon for less than $100.00.

  I meant to link this. It's a new law that allows collections of medical debt. I mentioned before everyone should pay their bill, but given that highway robbery in the medical billing department is legal, this law could hurt people.
