  Afternoon all. Could anybody be kind enough to recommend a shoe repair place that does alterations? I have a couple of pairs of boots on which I need the lace-holes on the ankle bits replaced with lace hooks, preferably locking hooks, so the old metal will need to be drilled out and replaced with new hooks. Despite the work being a doddle (I could do it myself if I had the tools and the parts), nowhere I can find is remotely interested. If anybody can advise of a place that will do the work, I’d most grateful. Thank you in advance.
