  there is a grain free supermarket brand called natures goodness. i use it because of the prohibitive mailing cost to get premium dog food to my location (at least $40 a bag)http://www.vippetfoods.com.au/product/natures-goodness-grainfree/ I have found it is a perfectly fine compromise and my BA is not itchy when he is eating it.
