  so apparently my roof cannot breathe... it has UPVC facias and sofits but would appear to have no vents. I am looking for someone that can install the vents in the sofits along with some roof tile vents and possibly someone that also knows about PIV systems and would be able to install one of these. Whilst up there I am looking for cast iron or aluminium guttering to be put on rather than plastic. The property is 1790 with a slate roof

  We were recommended to Kevin of Ascot roofing by a friend who has a scaffolding company. He is always working for him and gad work done himself. 07771347526. He put our roof right after 3 others couldn't was realistically priced and bags of integrity. We had roof and fascia vents which he was totally familiar with. I recommend him without hesitation. Hope he can fit you in, he's worth the wait. It's such a delight knowing our roof is safe. He also found an electrical fault and put it right. It was a fire waiting to happen in the roof.
