You can do to the child support offices yourself and they will assign an attorney for you

I think she's in INDIANA...so unless the child has lived in Illinois (legally) the past 6 months, or some other special circumstances, she has to file in INDIANA. In most states, as in Illinois, she can use the county State's Attorney's office to file the child support case for her...then you get the benefit of using the nationwide [giant] child support computer system to search for employment info on the payor (the father? the mother?)....good luck to you...
