Looking for funky barbershop/hair salon recommendation Hi everyone,
I'm looking for recommendations for funky/alternative hair salons in Medford, Somerville, or Arlington. I am a female with a mohawk and I'm looking for a fun place to get my hair done. Thank you for your help!

Probably too much of a trek for you, but I get my hair cut at Deep Blue in Brookline Village and love it. They have both a [salon](http://deepbluehairstudio.com/) and a [barbershop!](https://deepbluebarbershop.com/) It's the first barbershop I've been to where the small talk isn't awkward and awful, so I usually recommend it to everyone.
First time hair dye, salon recommendation for dark brown hair Hi there,
I would really like to dye my hair for the first time everrrr! Super nervous but excited. I am going after the sun-kissed look, with strands of caramel kissing my dark brown hair. Lazy lady here, so I'm probably going to get a partial highlight since it's lower maintenance (correct me if I'm wrong here...). I poured a lot of time into researching salons, comparing costs and asking Yelp, but I can't make a decision. I am willing to spend up to $200. Any advice would be appreciated!!
I'm close to Cambridge / Downtown Boston / Somerville / Allston.

Candice at Deep Blue Hair Studio in Brookline Village. She does a great job, their prices aren't that bad, and you can schedule online. It's also close to the T and they have parking in the back. http://deepbluehairstudio.com/
Hairdresser Recommendation Needed! I just moved to the Boston area from the south coast of Mass, and I desperately need a cut and color! Anyone know of a good hairdresser in the area? Links to ig/website would be appreciated.
I'm a female with longish hair if that matters.
My hair thanks you in advance!

I recently got my hair done by Sylvia at [Deep Blue Hair Studio](http://deepbluehairstudio.com/) in Brookline. I wasn't getting anything fancy - just a wash/cut/blowdry - but she did a nice job and was super fast (not rushed, just efficient). Their prices are very reasonable as well - it was actually cheaper than my old salon when I lived way out in the suburbs.
Looking for an awesome hairdresser I usually white knuckle visits to get my hair done

If you don't mind traveling to Brookline, Deep Blue Hair Studio has some amazing hairstylists. I go to Candice and she's never disappointed me. I have curly hair and she knows how to cut it perfectly and her color skills are amazing. https://m.facebook.com/DeepBlueHairStudio
