Has anyone put down attic flooring (yourself or paid someone) to get better storage space? I've recently had a new AC & Furnace installed by Frostys (very pleased with the deal Jim was able to give me!) - and because I asked them to relocate the furnace unit in my attic, I now have several new gaps in the piecemeal flooring that is up there. I'd like to have someone come out to take out all the old boards, possibly put in new insulation, and put down new (very basic) flooring so I can maximize the space up there. I got a lead from Jim about a contractor he uses for this sort of thing, but it didn't pan out. Can anyone suggest someone you've used or that you know could do this? I'm looking for a summer or early fall timeline (knowing that summer attics can be blazing hot!) - but would love to get it at least lined up now. Thanks!
