I've recently had a new AC & Furnace installed by Frostys (very pleased with the deal Jim was able to give me!) - and because I asked them to relocate the furnace unit in my attic, I now have several new gaps in the piecemeal flooring that is up there. I'd like to have someone come out to take out all the old boards, possibly put in new insulation, and put down new (very basic) flooring so I can maximize the space up there. I got a lead from Jim about a contractor he uses for this sort of thing, but it didn't pan out. Can anyone suggest someone you've used or that you know could do this? I'm looking for a summer or early fall timeline (knowing that summer attics can be blazing hot!) - but would love to get it at least lined up now. Nine windows w/installation was around $6,000, but I chose higher end insulating windows and clearer screens. I could have gotten basic windows for about $1500 less. I did not have any structural issues. Took a day and a half. My energy bills have definitely gone down as a result of the new windows.

Hard to say price for first floor only because I did other work at the same time but Silva is very reasonable.
