  Located in SW Arizona. Posting for a friend. ISO horse needing a retirement or companion only home. My friend and old neighbor recently lost her 30 year old mare, and her other 25 year old mare is not coping well with being alone. We've found her a temporary companion, but shes looking to adopt a horse who just needs to live out their days in peace. Color/size/gender doesnt matter so long as they are arent likely to beat up or bully her mare. She can pick up within 3-4 hours of Tucson, AZ, but also welcomes home checks and can provide vet/farrier/dentist/chiro references.
