Or alternatively as matt says getting a good quality grinder is essential and an aeropress can make fantastic black coffees when prepared correctly. http://www.coffeeitalia.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=Semiautomatic_Coffee_Grinder_PIERO-MOD.080&cat=127 something like this would be an ideal grinder at that price range and an aeropress on amazon is £20 :)
