  The first number they list is disconnected. This numbe is for the Children's Hospital Car seat center. They say it can take up to 13 weeks to get an appointment but I would call and see if they have one any sooner. 1-800-504-9768

  I have some stuff I'd like to donate, women's clothes (mostly jeans and khakis), some household, and some baby items. I don't want to take them where they will be thrown in the back of a semi and be sorted and sold later. Any recommendations?

  If I may offer a suggestion, Matt, please don't accept a used car seat or buy one at a consignment store. If you can't afford a new car seat, please call 1-800-504-9768 on Mondays and Wednesdays and they can tell you if you qualify to receive a new car seat at absolutely no cost to you. The seats are given away through a grant from Alabama Head Injury Foundation, State Farm, and Safe Kids Alabama.
