  Brasserie Zedel www.brasseriezedel.com French place round the corner from Leicester square that is dead cheap, does good French food and had the most impressive dining room of all time. If you fancy Korean you could check out bibimbap in Soho which does the best dol sot in town and is also dead cheap. You can usually walk in to either on a week night with no need to book though you might need to queue a bit for bibimbap as it is sometimes busy bibimbapsoho.co.uk
