  Here are a couple of suggestions for the Atlanta area. I haven't been to this shop myself, but they get a lot of positive chatter. http://www.knitchknitting.com/ If you tell your brother it's near where I-75 and I-85 North separate, he should know the area I"m talking about. It's not too terribly far from Marietta. Out in Woodstock (also near Marietta) is The Whole Nine Yards. They also get a lot of good chatter from the ATL area knitters I know of. http://www.thewholenineyarns.com/ There is are a couple of shops in Marietta, but I haven't heard anything about them, so hesitate to even mention them.
