  A couple of days ago, the knob on my dryer broke off. I had a Lowes warranty -- and Lowes told me to call Active Appliances, Van Nuys. They have repair people in different areas, so they're not coming from VN. Go to activeappliances.com. Good reviews, 818-778-1999.
