  Looking for recommendations, we want to take the kids to the mountains in January. We prefer not to drive too far Vail, winter park, copper, etc are all fine distances. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to go and stay? I would love tubing but really just snow playing, swimming pool inside might be nice in a cozy lodge or condo. There will be 4 adults and 3 kids aged 10 to 1. TIA!

  Not sure about accommodations, but a day trip to Evergreen for ice skating on the lake then Beaujo's pizza in town is a favorite family tradition at my house! http://www.evergreenrecreation.com/facilities/evergreen_lake_house/hockey_skating.htm
