  Ok not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know of some business specialized lawyers in the area or firms that might be interested in donating some time to helping Clean Slate establish itself as a non-profit organization? If we were able to get that under our belts we could really make an even larger difference in the Logan County area, and this is our eventual goal to become an open place where people can come at anytime to receive support in many ways on getting their lives on track, sober and healthy! We are growing so fast I believe this is something we have to look into. Or an advice/suggestions?

  You might be able to walk yourself through the process - it's all done online now with really good instructions. (You will have to create an account if you wish to view the forms, but it's free to do so.) I assume you are wishing to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit for IRS purposes?
