cheap cultural yummy food hey, can anyone recommend any places you like to go to that have good food, but aren't expensive? just to try something new, ex: vietnamese, indian, greek, etc. preferably in brooklyn or downtown manhattan

Queens. [Here's me asking about food at one of the newer food courts](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskNYC/comments/dp89 ly/hk_food_court_in_elmhurst/). Elmhurst, Flushing, Woodside, etc will find you food from lots of different cultures, and at reasonable prices (because rent is still cheaper than Manhattan). The trope is to eat along the 7 train, but it's not wrong. Joe DiStefano's [Chopsticks and Marrow](http://chopsticksandmarrow.com/) is the only blog I read, but he does Queens justice. These enclaves of various cultures do exist in other parts of NYC, but the route on the 7 train is one of the easiest to navigate, and most well documented.
