  Suggestions for a dentist, please! I have a hole in a molar and the dentist I just saw recommended a root canal. After reading up more on what all a root canal entails I have decided I want to seek out a second opinion and, hopefully, a safer route. I have read that a root canal should be my last option. The tooth doesn't hurt and isn't infected or anything so I think I have time to look around more.
