Hello! My name is Carmen. I am the Photographer/Owner of "Beyond the Gates Photo" I started my journey into the hobby of photography in 1994, experementing through the years to find my passion.
I discovered that I truely enjoyed photographing nature but also loved to photograph people... I worked for 3 years in a major studio chain and decided that It was not for me. I wanted to photograph People in natural settings! I beleive that photographing in a natural setting captures the true nature of the person, their personality, traits, joys, passions, etc...making for some truely unique portraits to be treasured for generations to come!
