  Akeso is voluntary only so cannot admit involuntary patients. Rand Clinic can admit involuntary patients. Also Akeso is private so medical aid is required and is only 3 weeks admission. It sounds as though yoh are looking for long term care. Call Sadag and LifeLine 0117281347 for such info.

  Anon Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist in the JHB North area? I suspect that I may have a degree of depression caused by the constant stress and abuse at work. Nothing I do is ever good enough and I'm always getting emails from my manager querying things I did or didn't do. I'm working every night when I get home including weekends and feel anxious when Sunday arrives because I'm scared of what is coming on Monday. I feel like everything that goes wrong is my fault. I like my job and I am good at it but it is affecting my family as I am short-tempered and moody and always stressing about work. Rivonia is also good for me - I just need to speak to someone with an objective opinion.

Whilst the experience was traumatic in itself, it now has also become very costly with regards to getting my car towed and getting keys made (they took my spare keys).   Dear all, ideas needed for a super cheap/affordable venue we can use for a private fundraiser function in Joburg. Sometime April/may. Needs to have a large hall type area, with other spaces if possible, ideally an outside. Safe parking. Must hold a couple of hundred people. we have to book the entire venue for ourselves for a day/evening (Saturday). Because it's a fundraiser - a semi decent area is needed. Input appreciated.
