Trying to find a reliable Mechanic, thought I may ask if anyone has any good recommendations before servicing. I've got a '98 Celica, I need to get a little minor work done to it, but I don't trust these hole-in-the wall garages around here. I initially wanted to go with ToyoTechs knowing they're Cert mechanics that use only OEM parts. I'd *really* like to use YourMechanic for the sake of ease but their reviews are terrible. Any suggestions on a mechanic around here? If y'all have worked with them, how's ToyoTechs?

For Japanese makes specifically, I had a really good experience with [Summit](http://www.summitautoservice.com/) in Decatur. We have an older car (2002) that we don't want to put a lot of money into. It needed a new part that was really expensive ($1000+) but, they found a way to jerry rig the old part for less than $100. The fix has held up for 5 years now. They use OEM parts and are ASE certified, but they're also resourceful and honest.
Mechanic recommendation for Midtown/Decatur? Hi friends,
I'm looking for a good Lexus/Toyota mechanic in the Decatur/Midtown area. I've had a few trips to Decatur Pro Auto Repair and feel so-so about the quality of their work vs their prices.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated! If it helps, specifically looking to service a 2004 Lexus IS 300

I've heard great things about [Summit Auto](http://www.summitautoservice.com/) but haven't needed to use them yet, since my car's still under warranty.
I would love a referral for a local regular service shop for my Toyota. I've had bad experience with those quick oil change places so I'd rather not do one of those. Any suggestions? Thanks all!
Atlanta folks--- does anyone have a car mechanic recommendation? My car needs some love!
