  Regardless of who you go too, I'd strongly suggest doing the memorial tattoo as a separate piece. Cover-ups always require some amount of compromise. For something so emotional, why compromise on the design. The unwanted tattoo can still be covered, just with something less connected with such strong emotions.   Hi guys I know we have some tattoo artists who post on here and I was hoping someone could offer me some advice regarding altering a tattoo (1 inch by 1.5 approx on inside of wrist) I got this tattoo a number of years ago and I don't like (long story, scary tattooist -_-) I would love for it to be more realistic but don't want to rush in to anything and risk making it worse. I also want to get some prices on 2 larger works and have images of what I am looking for. So yea any advice, recommended tattoo artists ect please let me know ^_^

It would be nice to have a consultation to chat through options for re-working your existing piece and for the other pieces you like. Otherwise my advice is always the same... .Decide on a style you like .Find someone who specialises in that style (check their portfolio throughly) .Meet them! Make sure you've got a good vibe.
