  Looking for a good reliable mechanic to help with my truck. I recently had the starter replaced and ever since then it's been running rough. When I first start it, it sounds like it is revving high. The rpm gauge doesn't hold steady while it idles. Not very much but if I watch it, I see and hear it change. The check engine light has been on for awhile. It seems to...cough, then it dies. If I turn it off then restart it, it starts again, but I'm really concerned. This is my only transportation. I can't afford to take it to a shop, so I was hoping to find someone who could help with it. It's a 1996 Isuzu Trooper. Thank you.
