  Your HECS/vet fee help debt is calculated on your ATI (assessable taxable income) so salary sacrifice etc possibly won't be of any benefit sorry. There are some things that may be possible but I have to meet compliance & work out whether they are in your best interest.   Chris Leary. I'm a financial planner & Chris does all my clients estate planning wills after the financial ramifications have been worked out. He's very reasonable. I'd be happy to have a chat with you too as the way it's done can make a difference from a financial perspective - taxation of beneficiaries, protection of assets & so on. There's far more to it than you'd realise, which is why it's important to do it right. Glad to see you're thinking of getting a solicitor to draw it up as a very high percentage of DIY wills end up in probate due to technicalities & errors.
