  HELP PLEASE...NEED A REPUTABLE CAR REPAIR GARAGE.... Sorry if this has been asked before...but can anyone recommend a garage that can take a look at my 4 year old car? I went to a garage last week as I have a wobble in the steering wheel. Was advised that it was the tyre(s) and told to take it to a tyre specialist first. So I did....and they said although only one tyre was slightly distorted, I should replace all 4 of them (even though there was no safety reason to (I did ask) and they still had plenty of tread left). I paid them to do the tracking and advised I would be back after pay day to sort the slightly distorted tyre and it's opposite. While I was waiting, a lady came in who had had all 4 tyres replaced on her range rover the day before, as she had complained of a steering wheel wobble...and guess what? Changing 4 tyres didn't cure her steering wheel wobble as they advised it would so she still needed to pay out more for a further 'fix'...Now call me sceptical (having been ripped off many times in the past) but this sounded a bit iffy so I am hesitant to go back to this garage. Now today, I have just had a blow out on a completely different tyre to the one that they said was distorted (so on one of the tyres they said was ok). So now I need to find a reputable garage that can check and change my tyres and also sort the wobble in the steering wheel which my sons and partner reckon is probably the wheel bearing. Can anyone recommend a good place to go to? Preferably a long-standing independent business that doesn't have Head Office 'sales targets' to meet Thanks folks
