Sean K. wrote: I had Jon replace a window for a door in a bathroom that could lead out to a deck. I purchased the door and him and his “buddy” came out to install it. First off he said it would take 2 days max. Over a week later I finally have a door, but it does not shut properly and I have to wiggle the door to get it to lock. They upsold me on having it painted by them for an extra $250. I agreed and explained I wanted the outside a certain color and the inside the color of the walls and even provided the paint for the inside. When his “buddy” came to collect the money, the bill was now over $500 more than agreed upon. I questioned where the extra charge is coming from and he immediately got defensive and loud with me and threatening. Cussing me and threatening violence. I had to kick his buddy off my property. When I asked Jon, “what’s going on” he acted like he didn’t know his buddy was going to ask for more money. When I asked Jon why he didn’t paint the inside of my door, he said he didn’t know. I pointed to the can of paint and said “well why did I supply you with this paint”. He had no reply. He left my property an absolute mess leaving all their trash. I still paid full price giving Jon every cent we agreed upon even though things weren’t right. After a few months of fighting with this door daily and now that the cold is here the door it even worse trying to get it to shut & lock. I reached out to Jon explaining the situation and asking him to just come back out and adjust the door. He ignored me after 3 messages over the course of a week on Facebook messenger that I can see he read. So with all that said, I do NOT recommend him to do any work. His professionalism is sub par. His work is mediocre. I wouldn’t trust him any more at this point.Was this review helpful to you? -
