  This may be a bit farther than you're looking for but I have traveled to him for the past couple of years and he is more than worth it with results that are far superior to any other local trainers I've seen. In fact, some in that category have taken their horses to him when they get stuck. He used to work for a household name, nationally recognized horseman training his performance horses. His rates are still reasonable though. Lessons with owner are built into the training program (2 a month) and everything is transparent. Visit anytime.
